Tarbell’s Hospitality to host holiday block party and wine sale for charity

The event will feature premium wine to taste, interesting food pairings, and more

Tarbell’s Hospitality, run by award-winning chef Mark Tarbell, will host a holiday block party and wine sale in the Tarbell’s parking lot at Camelback East Village with a portion of the proceeds from the event donated to The Joy Bus nonprofit organization.

Tarbell’s Wine Store’s holiday charity event will feature chef Adrian DeLeon’s outdoor favorites, premium wine tastes, local farmers and live music from Tarbell’s own band, Cha Cha Mouche, on Sunday, Dec. 5, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

A portion of the wine proceeds from this event will be donated to The Joy Bus Diner, a nonprofit founded by award-winning chef Jennifer Caraway that is dedicated to bringing chef-inspired meals and caring conversations to cancer patients across the Valley.

The winter season wine and food block party offers a curated holiday gift selection including collectible wine bottles, wine gift baskets and local products by Arizona makers to check off holiday shopping lists.

Each guest will receive tasting tickets with 10 pours of top-shelf, full-bodied and light wines for the winter season that will be available for purchase at the Wine Store.

For all members of Mark’s Wine Club and the Luxury Wine Club, two elite wine memberships offered through Tarbell’s Wine Store, there will be exclusive wines available for tasting at this event.

All guests have the option to upgrade their general admission wristband by joining one of these exclusive wine clubs at the event.

Sodas, water and wine by the glass will be made available throughout the food stations.

General tickets that include entry, the wine tasting and food pairings are on sale for $49.

Mark’s Wine Club members will receive admission and a tasting ticket for food and exclusive wine pairings at the discounted ticket price of $29. Additionally, Luxury Club members will receive complimentary entry into the event with a tasting of exclusive wines and dish pairings included.

General tickets and discounted wine club member tickets can be purchased here

Guests can also enjoy live music from a four-piece band, play yard games and participate in fun contests.

Because the contests were such a hit at Tarbell’s last block party, the team will be introducing a second round of the coconut cream pie-eating contest and will introduce a new challenge: the best sweater contest. Both winners will receive a free, top-shelf wine bottle from the Wine Store.

Due to limited parking, it is advised that guests make use of rideshares for traveling to and from the block party.
