The Paradise Valley Police Department and Mike Cummiskey, owner of Paradise Valley Wealth Management, Inc., are teaming up again for their 10th year of on-site shredding services for town residents 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at the Town Municipal Complex.
“Although not required, Paradise Valley residents can make appointments on-line to avoid waiting in long lines” said Cummiskey, whose company has sponsored 17 of these events since 2014.
When scheduling, consider making an online donation to help PVPD support “Angels on Patrol” which provides PVPD officers with additional community resources to support residents in times of crisis, according to a press release. Proceeds will also support PVPD’s commitment to Special Olympics. Cash donations will be accepted at the event. Last fall, donations at the event totaled almost $5,000.
AZstRUT (Arizona Students Recycling Used Technology), a local nonprofit that refurbishes, reuses and recycles electronics, will again be on site to collect used electronics such as desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. They are unable to accept tube TVs or CRT monitors.
To schedule your shredding appointment, use your camera and scan the QR code in the ad for the event, or register online by visiting https://alertpv.us/ShredSafely. You can also get additional information from PVPD at 480-348-3567 or Mike Cummiskey’s office at 480-483-3156.
