Gulick: Support Lewis, Pittinsky and Sharkey for SUSD School Board

As a graduate of SUSD, a parent of two SUSD students and an active volunteer on two campuses and at the district level, I am supporting Donna Lewis, Matt Pittinsky and Mike Sharkey in the upcoming school board election.

For over 20 years, I have been active in the campaigns for the district’s override and bond ballot measures. It is clear that our community is invested in SUSD’s quality and success. The community also understands the direct correlation between high-quality neighborhood district schools, maintaining property values, a thriving local economy and our exceptional quality of life. They know that consistent, qualified leadership on the Governing Board is imperative to keeping SUSD a “District of Excellence” that engages all students in world-class, future-focused learning.

Mike, Donna and Matt are parents, educators and professionals who are passionate about and committed to high standards, partnering with parents and serving all children in the district. Each of them brings a distinct set of qualities to the Governing Board including data analytics, administrative leadership and entrepreneurial leadership.
