Applications being accepted for East Valley Veterans Parade

The East Valley Veterans Parade Association is now accepting applications for entries to the 17th Annual East Valley Veterans Day Parade.

This year’s theme is “Arizona Heroes – Global War on Terrorism” to recognize those who served in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and their families, according to a release.

Applications for the Monday, Nov. 11, parade must be submitted online from a link at https://evvp.org/ by Oct. 22 to be eligible. The application does not guarantee acceptance into the parade. All entrants are responsible for learning the parade’s rules and regulations.

The East Valley Veterans Parade on Nov. 11 traditionally attracts more than 90 entries and is attended by thousands along Center Street and First Street in downtown Mesa. More parade information is available at https://evvp.org.
