Goodyear Police Department’s Coffee with a Cop planned for May 27 at Enroute Coffee & Tea House is the latest city event canceled over COVID-19 concerns.

From 8-9:30 a.m. several Wednesdays a year, Goodyear Police Department personnel meet informally with the public to discuss concerns and to share ideas. The last meeting was in February at Starbucks on Pebble Creek Parkway.

Other Coffee with a Cop meetings for 2020 are scheduled for Aug. 12 at Colados Coffee and Crepes, 15479 W. McDowell Road, Suite 109; Oct. 7 in the GPD records/patrol building Community Room, 11 N. 145th Ave.; and Dec. 9 at Oasis Bagels, 17650 W. Elliott Road, Suite A-155.

Two GPD buildings, records/patrol and property and evidence have been closed to the public until further notice. Fingerprinting and prescription drug drop-off conducted in the records/patrol lobby have been suspended until further notice.

Property releases conducted at the property and evidence building, 2711 S. La Luna, are by appointment only and may be made by calling 623-882-7475 or emailing gypdpropertyandevidence@goodyearaz.gov.
