A suspect in an attempted homicide case was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 21, after a barricade situation in Pinal County, authorities said.
The investigation started Tuesday Aug. 20 when Goodyear Police Department detectives were able to track 35-year-old Martin Martinez to a location in Casa Grande. While in the process being arrested, Martinez fled on foot to a nearby home.
Martinez then barricaded himself inside the residence. With the help of Pinal County and Casa Grande police Martinez was taken into custody and will be booked into Maricopa County Jail.
