Posted

The city of Goodyear’s InnovationHub is celebrating its 10th anniversary through an open house 9 a.m-5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1.

Managed and programmed by Goodyear’s Economic Development department, the InnovationHub is on the second floor of the Georgia T. Lord Library, 1900 N. Civic Square, and provides resources to residents with a mission to lower the barriers to business ownership.

The program has assisted more than 2,000 entrepreneurs and business owners during the past 10 years. The program is a city partnership with ASU Entrepreneurship and Innovation Group run through the library.

InnovationHub services include free access to the ASU Startup School, business programs, workshops, access to city resources, mentorship programs, webinars, library databases and workforce development resources.

The Georgia T. Lord Library offers a co-working space specifically for InnovationHub members where entrepreneurs and small business owners can reserve a meeting room for up to three hours per day.
