Goodyear's Council Conversations returns

Goodyear residents will have an opportunity to meet and engage with their local leaders one-on-one this Wednesday, with the return of Council Conversations.

Council Conversations is a quarterly meet-up between Goodyear residents and their mayor and city council.

The informal gathering was suspended for almost two years after the COVID-19 pandemic put many in-person meetings and events on hold. The last Council Conversation took place in Dec. 2019, and a planned meeting for April 2020 was canceled.

The next Council Conversation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 29, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Goodyear Recreation Campus at 420 S. Estrella Pkwy.

Mayor Georgia Lord, Vice Mayor Brannon Hampton, and City Councilmembers Wally Campbell, Laura Kaino, Sheri Lauritano, Joe Pizzillo and Bill Stipp are expected to attend.
