The city of Avondale's Household Hazardous Waste Event is coming this weekend.
From 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 2, residents can dispose of household hazardous waste for free with proof of Avondale residency (Avondale utility bill or driver's license).
Accepted items include adhesives, electronics, paints, and more. Electronic waste will also be collected.
It all takes place at the Avondale Civic Center Complex, City Hall north parking lot, at 11465 W. Civic Center Drive.
