Optima Medical welcomes Glendale physician to Peoria office

Posted

Primary care provider Optima Medical announced Dr. Gerald B. Harris and Theresa Eblin have joined their team to deliver personalized healthcare in the Northwest Valley.

Both providers have begun seeing patients in Optima Medical’s Peoria office, located at 8914 N. 91st Avenue, Suite #100, effective Monday, June 20, 2022.

To ensure a seamless transition for Dr. Harris and Eblin’s longstanding patients from their former Glendale office, Optimal Medical will honor all previously scheduled appointments. They will also transfer patient records and notify insurance companies.

Dr. Harris has been in practice for two decades. He is an internist who received his medical degree from the Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific.

“Joining Optima Medical will allow us to bring our patients expanded services and coordination of care,” Harris said. “Patients should be reassured that they will continue to receive care from the same staff and providers, as well as new team members.”

Eblin is a family nurse practitioner who received her master’s in nursing education from Grand Canyon University and her master’s in nursing/family nurse practitioner from the University of Phoenix. She has been practicing for 39 years.

“Optima Medical will allow me to continue to provide the best patient care to my patients,” Eblin said. “Their focus on preventative care will help me to continue to advocate for my patients.”

Patients with additional questions are encouraged to call 623-877-0100.

Optima Medical is an Arizona-based medical group consisting of 14 locations and 60 medical providers, who care for more than 120,000 patients statewide.
