Glendale City Council approves up to $90k for design of splash pad at O'Neil Park

Glendale City Council approved a $90,000 budget for the first phase of design for a splash pad at O'Neil Park, 6448 W. Missouri Ave.

The contractor plans to spend just under $84,000 of that budget, according the city's contract with the contractor,  J2 Engineering and Environmental Design.

The first phase of design will include the development of design construction documents for a new, 3,000-square-foot splash pad in the site of the former pool and bathhouse.  The second phase will be for final design of the improvements, bidding and construction administrative support services. The second design phase will be under a separate contract and budget.
