Audrey Monell, president of the Glendale-based Forrest Anderson Plumbing and Air Conditioning Inc., has been inducted as an honoree for the Sun Devil 100 Class of 2022 by Arizona State University’s (ASU) Alumni Association.

The family-owned business, located at 17225 N. 63rd Ave., has served the greater Phoenix metro area since 1961.

Every year the ASU Alumni Association celebrates the top 100 fastest-growing, alumni owned or led businesses from around the world that demonstrate innovation, growth, entrepreneurial spirit and responsibility to the community.

Monell graduated from ASU’s W. P. Carey School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Economics in 2008 and has been leading the third generation of her family’s business for more than 14 years now.

“It is an incredible honor to be recognized by ASU for my team’s efforts and join the talented, innovative leaders in this year’s class,” Monell shared in a statement. “We’re keeping my grandfather’s legacy and values alive by growing the company and always keeping our promises to our customers, no matter what.”

As president Monell has developed new campaigns and initiatives to improve business operations, expand services, and most importantly, empower her customers to make confident decisions and trust the repairs her technicians recommend. She also launched the company’s annual Military Hero Giveaway, which has become a tradition in the Valley to honor and support local veterans.

Monell will join the other 99 honorees during a special award reception on Thursday, April 28 at ASU’s Tempe campus where the top earning businesses will be recognized.
