Arizona Oncology, a provider of advanced cancer care across Arizona, announced it is expanding with new services and levels of care at its Arrowhead location.

Joining Arizona Oncology’s existing network of more than 60 physicians is Ronik Bhangoo, MD, specializing in radiation oncology at the Arrowhead Radiation Oncology & Imaging Center, 6525 W. Sack Drive, Suite 105, Glendale.

Bhangoo will work alongside radiation oncologists Dr. Jerry Lucas, Dr. Subhakar Mutyala and Dr. Marshall Davis. He has participated in various radiation oncology publications, and comes to Arizona Oncology from the Radiation Oncology Residency Program at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix.

“For more than 22 years, Arizona Oncology has remained committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate, high-quality cancer therapies in a community setting,” Dr. Edgar Staren, Chief of Operations at Arizona Oncology, stated in a news release. “Each one of these industry leading physicians brings valuable expertise to advance our levels of service in the Valley and to help ensure our patients have access to the latest in treatments closest to their homes and care providers.”

Since its inception in 1998, Arizona Oncology features more than 120 clinicians devoted to providing comprehensive, compassionate and high-quality cancer care.
