Fountain Hills Community Tax Credit Foundation benefits low-income families

Community invited to contribute to qualified charitable organization

Individuals and couples filing joint tax returns can support the Fountain Hills community and receive a dollar-for-dollar reduction on their Arizona State income tax by donating to the Fountain Hills Community Tax Credit Foundation (FHCTCF) before the tax deadline of Monday, April 15, according to a press release.

Four different tax credit categories, each with their own maximum contribution, exist in Arizona: Private School, Qualified Charitable Organization, Qualified Foster Care Organization and Public School. Individuals and married couples filing jointly can donate to each category until their maximum contribution has been met, the release read.

The FHCTCF is a qualified charitable organization (QCO) that was established to serve Fountain Hills community members who meet low-income guidelines established by the Federal Government and State of Arizona.

In this category, individuals can contribute up to $421. Couples filing jointly can contribute up to $841.

Individuals interested in donating to the FHCTCF can mail their contribution to the Fountain Hills Community Tax Credit Foundation at P.O. Box 20104, Fountain Hills, AZ, 85269.

Contributions should include the AZDOR notation, QCO CODE 22465.

More information is available on the Foundation’s website at fhctcf.org, including a question-and-answer section for contributors as well as information for those who want information about receiving these funds.

Contact the group at Info@fhctcf.org for additional questions.
