Update: Florence town hall remodeling

Posted

After more than two months, the majority of the front counter remodeling project at the Florence Town Hall building, 775 N. Main St., has been completed and reopened.

On Jan. 29, Florence Town Hall was closed while contractors completed a front-counter remodeling project for the administration, finance and courts departments.

All public meetings and court hearings set for in the Council Chambers continued as scheduled and the lobby’s restrooms remained open.

This closure was expected to last until March 8. During this time, the administration, finance and courts departments were available for in-person meetings by appointment only.

Payments may still be dropped off in the yellow drop box in front of town hall, which will be collected several times throughout the day.
