The Florence Teen Council and the town of Florence are hosting their inaugural Teen Leadership Symposium.
“We’ve got four amazing speakers joining us to discuss topics related to teen leadership,” said Jeff Graves, communications and intergovernmental relations manager for the town. “They’ll be delivering sessions to both our teen and adult attendees.”
The symposium takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, Sept. 13 at the Viney Jones Library & Community Center, 778 N. Main St.
Local photographer Michael Baca, owner of Casa de Baca Studios, will be on hand to offer free professional headshots for all teen attendees.
Topics during the symposium include building a strong online brand, achieving goals and becoming an influencer.
Along with Casa de Baca Studios, the symposium is being sponsored by Cox, SRP and APS.
