Date change for monthly food bank in Florence

United Food Bank’s monthly food bank in Florence is taking place a week earlier than usual this month.

The next food bank distribution will start at 8 a.m., Friday, March 22 at the Heritage Park parking lot, 600 N. Main St. The event lasts until food runs out.

The date has been moved from the last Friday of the month, March 29, due to Good Friday.

Local community groups and volunteers gather at the distribution event to help neighbors in need through this monthly food bank.
