Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke invites the public to a listening session to address teen violence and behavioral health in our community.

The free event will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, April 29, at the Chandler Nature Center, 4050 E. Chandler Heights Road.

Chandler Police will give an update on the topic from a public safety perspective, followed by a presentation from Dr. Paula McCall, president of Semicolon Society, highlighting resources and additional education.

After the presentations, there will be breakout sessions to continue the discussion in small-group settings.

Attendees are encouraged to register here to help plan for an approximate number of attendees. However, all walk-ups will be welcome as well.

We’d like to invite our readers to submit their civil comments on this topic.  Email AZOpinions@iniusa.org
