Celebrate Golden Neighbors' third birthday

Posted

The City of Chandler’s Golden Neighbors program is hosting a birthday celebration in honor of the program’s third year of serving Chandler’s senior residents.

The celebration will be held Wednesday, May 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Chandler City Hall mezzanine, 175 S. Arizona Ave.

Chandler’s "golden" senior community is encouraged to join the celebration and meet staff from the Chandler CARES Team, Chandler Police, Chandler Public Library, Senior Center and Neighborhood Programs office to learn more about their services and resources.

Attendees can enjoy refreshments and birthday cake and get a bag filled with household supplies.

Chandler residents planning to attend are encouraged to RSVP online here. Attendees can also call 480-782-4362 or email neighborhood.programs@chandleraz.gov to RSVP.

The Golden Neighbors program was created as a resource to connect Chandler “golden” seniors with services offered by the city and local partners and to help create community.

For more information about the program, or to make a donation, visit Chandler Golden Neighbors.
