US60 closure planned between Loop 202 and Crismon Road March 8-11

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for a closure on U.S. Highway 60 Superstition Freeway in Mesa for pavement improvement work.

Eastbound US60 between Loop 202 and Crismon Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, March 8, through 5 a.m. Monday, March 11. The following ramps also will be closed: The eastbound US60 on-ramps at Power and Ellsworth roads; and both Loop 202 (SuperRedTan Interchange) ramps to eastbound US60.

Detours: Drivers can consider using Southern Avenue or Broadway Road to connect with their destinations to the north of US60 and Baseline or Guadalupe roads south of US60.

Nightly lane restrictions are also planned for March 6-7: Westbound US 60 between Loop 202 and Crismon Road will be narrowed to one lane nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Wednesday, March 6, through the morning of Friday, March 8.

Upcoming restrictions/closures: Westbound US60 between Loop 202 and Crismon Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, March 15, through 5 a.m. Monday, March 18.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
