Burlington Stores, a national retailer, is opening a new store in Mesa, bringing the total number of locations in the state to 17.
“Our goal is to continue to offer communities great values on brand name merchandise for the entire family and home,” Michael O’Sullivan, CEO of Burlington Stores, said in a release. “We’re expanding and growing our footprint across the county and excited to be opening a store in Mesa. We look forward to giving local customers the chance to discover fantastic prices on a wide range of products. We know they will love the deals.”
While shopping, customers will enjoy a safe shopping experience. The retailer’s top priority is the safety and well-being of customers and associates, and Burlington will continue to follow social-distance practices and cleaning measures in alignment with CDC guidelines.
The Mesa Grand store opens Oct. 29 at 1727 S. Stapley Drive in Mesa and will be open 8 a.m.-11 p.m. seven days a week.
Following a 7:45 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony Oct. 29, the first 100 customers at each location, aged 18 and up, will receive a $5 Bonus Card to be used toward their purchase.
On Saturday, Oct. 30, customers will receive a free Burlington umbrella, while supplies last, no purchase necessary.

Burlington is dedicated to giving back to the communities where customers and associates live and work, and supporting various philanthropic initiatives throughout the year.
To celebrate the new location’s grand opening and underscore the retailer’s continued commitment to enhancing educational opportunities, Burlington will be donating $5,000 to nearby Harris Elementary through its long-standing partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org.
Funds will be used to support teachers and their classrooms so that they can purchase materials needed for their students to better learn and succeed.
The presentation of the donation to local school leaders and representatives will take place at the ribbon-cutting ceremony to be held outside of the new store on Oct. 29.
