Whatever your special entertainment skill — Gold Canyon’s Got Talent Show is waiting for you, according to a release.

Gold Canyon Community Inc. is partnering with Zao Theatre for a fundraiser to benefit the Gold Canyon Community Center. The event will take place at the Zao Theatre, 6338 S. Kings Ranch Road, at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025.

“We won’t have Simon Cowell, but we can promise you a warm, welcoming audience of residents, friends and neighbors along with our own local panel of ‘celebrity’ judges. There will be people’s choice awards, judges’ favorites, and, who knows, there might even be a golden buzzer in your future,” it states.

Put yourself on the live audition schedule now at www.gccincaz.org/thecenter. In-person auditions will take place at the Gold Canyon United Methodist Church 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14. Video auditions will also be accepted between now and then; email to infogccc22@gmail.com. Audition judges will announce the finalists the week of Nov. 18.

“You’re not a professional, but you are over the age of 14 and you know people enjoy what you do. So here’s your opportunity to showcase your talent and support a worthy cause for the enjoyment of the entire community. Sign up today for your turn at the spotlight,” it states.
