Sun Village Fair, a shopping center in north-central Chandler, has been sold to a group called Arizona Partners for $12.5 million, according to a news release.
The 20.46-acre site sits at the northeast corner of Alma School and Warner roads. There is more than 189,000 square feet of indoor space, including a former supermarket anchor, most of which has sat vacant for several years.
The news release points out more than 6 acres of the site fronts one or both of the two major arterials. It’s all slated for redevelopment, the release states.
Walmart, First Bank and Wendy’s will continue operating within the development but were not included in the transaction.
Kidder Mathews, Northmarq, Land Advisors and LNR Partners were all involved in the transaction.
