Chorus concert coming to Sun City West

The Westernaires chorus concert, “The Bright Side of Spring,” directed by Sylvia Collins, takes place 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Monday, April 5, 6 & 8, and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 7 in the Stardust Theatre/Kuentz Rec Center, 14401 R.H. Johnson Blvd.

Reserved tickets are $10 and are available at the R.H. Johnson Rec Center Box Office, 19803 R.H. Johnson Blvd., or online at (Assoc. Information/Things To Do/Stardust Theatre Tickets).

A variety of songs scheduled for the show include “The Beginning of Love” with words inspired by Mother Teresa, “The Rose,” “Dry Bones,” “Cry Me a River,” and “Fifty Years More,” music and lyrics by Kendell Stiles, a former director, and “Elijah and Joshua.”

Tickets, if available, will be sold in the Lobby 30 minutes prior to each performance.
