Peterson: Some Sun City library additions make no sense

The article (“Library book drop moving forward,” Sun City Independent, Feb. 20, 2019) contained the amazing information that “baby changing stations in the restrooms” are now at the library.

This is a retirement community for the 55 and older crowd, but they’re spending money on this instead of improving the pathetic periodicals collection and offering interlibrary loan? The library doesn’t have “Booklist” or the “New York Review of Books” so residents can decide on worthwhile reading. But now we’ll have to find our way around a baby changing station?

Where are the babies? Where is the logic?
