What has your HOA done for you?
How much do you pay for your homeowners’ association? What does your HOA offer you? — Eric Walmsley
Not a fan
Too much, not enough. And my mother says if you have nothing nice to say… — Amy Heusted
Way too much; we said when we moved here, “no HOA!” Then we decided OK, no more than $55 a month, and what do we end up with? $107 a month and what does it include? They mow and half water our front tiny patch of grass and half the tiny front yard doesn’t fully get water, so it’s basically a giant litter box for the stray cats that roam around … Ugh! — Melissa Warriner
So worth it
We pay $50 a month and it’s worth every penny of it. We moved from Illinois and heard horror stories about HOAs out here. Thank goodness, we did our own research. We compared several areas. Wow! We are glad not to have cars in the streets 24/7, neighbors with trash and weeds all over, vehicles parked in the side graveled yard, campers hooked up in the driveways, pink or purple painted homes and we love the well-kept green common areas and clean parks. We’ve been to several HOA meetings and they are very informative and the board members are people from the neighborhood. — Sandi Taylor Ibbotson
