Carol Dana is the Rhythm Tappers’ new advanced tap instructor.

Ms. Dana has a wealth of teaching experience to share, including a long history with Dysart High School as well as classes in Sun City, Sun City Grand and nearly a year with Sun City West’s Jazzy Poms. She is also a former Ms. Senior Arizona.

The Rhythm Tappers’ new session has begun although registration is still available. Classes meet in the dance room at Palm Ridge Rec Center, 13800 W. Deer Valley Drive, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The morning teacher is Marcia Day, who starts at 9 a.m. with Beginning Tap, followed by Morning Tap at 10, and Jazz at 11. Ms. Dana comes in at noon for Jazzy Poms and Advanced Tap at 1. The final class of the day is Precision Tap, a form of clogging.
