The Sounds of the Southwest Singers community choir will present two Sacred Sounds concerts in March. The first is 3 p.m. Sunday, March 3 at Crown of Life Lutheran Church, 13131 Spanish Garden Drive, in Sun City West. The second is scheduled 3 p.m. Sunday, March 17 at Faith Presbyterian Church, 16000 N. Del Webb Blvd., in Sun City.

The Sounds of the Southwest Singers is under the direction of founding director Matt Deller. The group will perform their sacred repertoire, highlighting traditional and contemporary anthems, many which pair with well-known hymns. There are several Sacred concerts scheduled throughout the Northwest Valley through April.

The choir plans to cruise Alaska and tour Seattle this June. In May 2020 the Singers will return to Carnegie Hall to join many singers from around the country forming a mass choir. During this performance the mass choir will sing under the direction of Mr. Deller, who will be making his Carnegie Hall directorial debut.

The Sounds of the Southwest Singers are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, with about 125 volunteer voices. This year celebrates their ninth year of singing together.
