Pop superstar Katy Perry will roll her world tour into Glendale this month.

Ms. Perry’s Witness: The Tour makes a stop in Glendale at Gila River Arena, 9400 W. Maryland Ave., at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19. The tour is in support of her new album, “Witness.”

She is coming off a successful 2017.

In August Ms. Perry hosted the MTV Video Music Awards, and at the Washington D.C. stop of her tour, the Recording Industry Association of America presented the Capitol Records superstar with three Diamond Awards for her hit songs “Roar,” “Dark Horse,” and “Firework,” representing 10 million or more sales and streams of each individual song in the United States. With these milestone certifications, she recently made gold and platinum history as the first artist to earn three RIAA Diamond Song Awards.

Carly Rae Jepsen is her opening act in Glendale.

The Witness tour goes through August.
