Sun Health Foundation invites the community to Drive FORE Superior Health Charity Golf Day 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, May 11 at Topgolf, 6101 N. 99th Ave., Glendale.
Participants can take part in family fun while supporting superior health care and honoring nurses during National Nurses Week. They can enjoy a family-friendly environment with music, food and other activities. Game play is tournament style. This state-of-the-art venue offers point-scoring golf games for all skills levels, including non-golfers.
Net proceeds from this charity golf for superior health event will benefit the emergency department and patient care transformation at Banner Boswell Medical Center, 10401 W. Thunderbird Blvd. Sun City. Because it will be National Nurses Week, opportunities are available to honor a nurse with a tribute ad in the event program and/or by sponsoring a team of nurses to attend this event.
The entire VIP floor will be transformed into a private party, complete with food and drinks. Prizes will be awarded throughout the event. A $10,000 hole-in-one contest will take place. Highest score wins the top contender award — a three-month platinum membership to Topgolf.
Opportunities to participate include Takeover Bay, sixsome, $750; single or novice player, $125; spectator, $35; and under 21 spectator, $25.
To register, and for more information on sponsoring a nurse/team to participate or on placing a nurse tribute ad in the program, visit www.SunHealthFoundation.org/Golf or contact Claudia Vazquez at 623-832-4323.
Banner Health, Morrison Community Living, Northern Trust, Sundt Construction, Wells Fargo and Zion & Zion are sponsors for the event.
Sun Health Foundation raises philanthropic support through individual contributions that help fund life-giving services and research at Banner Boswell Medical Center; Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center, 14502 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City West; and Banner Sun Health Research Institute, 10515 W. Santa Fe Drive, Sun City and supports the Sun Health Wellness programs available to the community.
