Broadway veteran brings show to Gyder Theatre

Chuck Wagner, a seasoned Broadway veteran, performs 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10 inside Gyder Theatre at Peoria Center for the Performing Arts, 10580 N. 83rd Drive.

For more than five years Mr. Wagner starred as the Beast in Disney’s hit musical “Beauty and the Beast.” He originated the role of Rapunzel’s Prince, and toured the United States as both Cinderella’s Prince and the Wolf in Stephen Sondheim’s classic “Into The Woods.”

He also created the dual roles of Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde in the world premiere of “Jekyll & Hyde” at Houston’s Alley Theatre, and toured internationally in the post-Broadway tour. Also on Broadway he appeared in the world’s most popular musical as Javert in “Les Miserables,” Van Helsing in “Dracula the Musical” and Athos in “The Three Musketeers.”

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and kids.
