Altrusa restores campus

Above, Bev Autrey, Dawn Mortellaro and Jackie Schell are shown at the project with some of the equipment that was used.

Altrusa of the West Valley took part in Benevilla’s Restorative Care Gardens Project housed on the campus of St.Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15880 N. Del Webb Blvd.

Altrusans will work along-side program members to plant, water and grow the garden. Members will also install a watering system, make sure the foundation is level and safe, buy garden related materials and replace coordinating awnings so members can sit in the shade to enjoy the garden.

Altrusa of the West Valley was honored to win a $2,000 grant from The Altrusa International Foundation to be used toward this project.
