The Deer Valley High School Spiritline brought home the Varsity Show Cheer State Championship from the state tournament.

They’re a young team with only one senior, yet they finished with a first place finish in the “Spring It On” competition at Mesa Dobson High School, and captured the state championship.

Deer Valley made it to finals at nationals, finishing fourth in Pom Novice and fifth in Stunt. Besides competing this year, DV Spiritline supported the school at the football games, basketball games and even the state cross country meet.

Every summer the team volunteers to feed the homeless along, with taking part in other charitable activities.
