Racing weekend geared toward Scouts at ISM

NASCAR heading west for weekend

 

ISM Raceway has two packages for local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts during the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series TicketGuardian 500 weekend Friday through Sunday, March 8-10 at the raceway, 7602 S. Avondale Blvd., in Avondale.

The two separate packages offer members and their parents the opportunity to experience the racing action while also taking in learning opportunities.

“We’re excited to host many exceptional young men and women from our local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts for our race weekend in March,” Julie Giese, president of ISM Raceway, stated. “A NASCAR race at ISM Raceway is a perfect family-friendly event and our commitment to providing these special packages for community organizations will amplify the experience for our young fans.”

The Scout Day package for local Boy Scouts includes a ticket to the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series TicketGuardian 500 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 10, a collectible patch and a private camping area adjacent to a trailhead leading into the Estrella Mountains. Tickets for Boy Scouts and their family members are $30 each and are available online at ismraceway.com/BSA2019 .

The Girl Scout Day package includes a ticket to the NASCAR Xfinity Series Race 2 p.m. Saturday, March 9, a private Women in Motorsports Q&A session along with the Girl Scouts Birthday Celebration and a collectible patch. Tickets for Girl Scouts and their family members for this special event are $20 each and are available at ismraceway.com/GIRLSCOUT2019 .
