The Recreation Centers of Sun City West will vote on the 2019-20 budget at their monthly meeting 9 a.m. Thursday, May 23, Summit Hall meeting room Palm Ridge Recreation Center, 13800 Deer Valley Road.

The process this year was hampered by staff and board member changes.

Nonetheless, Bryan Walus, RCSCW governing board treasurer, said he feels the budget preparation is complete and a success.

“I believe a solid budget with great benefits to the members and many of the Chartered Clubs that were in serious need of additional space has been achieved for the RCSCW 2019-2020 budget year.”

A summary of the proposed 2019-20 budget:
Budgeted Revenue from operations = $24.7 million
Budgeted Expenditures for operations = $23.2 million
Budgeted Cash Flow from operations = $1.5 million
Budgeted Asset Preservation Fee Revenue = $4.3 million
Budgeted Capital Projects = $7.97 million

Further details on the budget process will be in next week’s edition of the sun City West Independent.
