The Properties Committee of the Recreation Centers of Sun City West will examine a report from a committee and consultant and future space utilization at their next meeting, 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb 12, in the lecture hall of the R.H. Johnson Recreation Center, 19803 R.H. Johnson Boulevard.

The meeting was moved to the lecture hall to accommodate an anticipated larger audience.

A special space utilization committee was formed in the summer of 2018 with the goal to review spaces currently used by clubs and determine their future needs.

A landscape architect was hired to prepare concepts for all four recreation centers based on the recommendation of the committee. This would involve moving some clubs to different rooms or centers and some remodeling.

The committee will receive the report and make a recommendation to the governing board on how to move forward.
