Glendale and state highway authorities found a stolen law enforcement truck but several items are still missing.
Phoenix police located and recovered an unmarked Arizona Department of Public Safety truck Thursday afternoon near 3rd Street between McDowell Road and Van Buren Street.
Glendale police detectives are working to identify what items are still missing. A spokeswoman said most of the police-issued equipment is still missing, including firearms.
However, there is not an inventory list available.
The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made yet.
Anyone with information regarding the theft, suspects, or location of any of the equipment can call Silent Witness for a possible reward up to $1,000 at 480-948-6377 or Glendale police at 623-930-3000.
The vehicle was originally stolen Tuesday morning by an unknown subject in the area of 51st and Sweetwater avenues. Inside was police indicia, equipment, and firearms belonging to DPS.
