Four Goodyear police officers are expected to be okay after they responded to a family fight, according to a spokeswoman.

The incident occurred before 6:30 p.m. at a home in the 16000 block of West Maricopa Street near Yuma Road and Sarival Avenue.

The Goodyear Police Department took the call involving two men and a woman, during which four officers were injured but not seriously, Public Information Officer Lisa Kutis said.

“Basically the fight was between two males and the female called 911,” Ms. Kutis said. “She later jumped in when officers arrived.”

Medical personnel transported two of the people to the hospital with injuries.

All three people in the house will be charged with aggravated assault and interfering with arrest.
