This month the City Council will formally approve the fiscal year 2018-19 budget. We continue to struggle to meet all the needs requiring far more money than is available. One of the most difficult aspects of developing the budget is to prioritize needs. City Council remains committed to the city’s Pavement Management Program and has directed staff to accelerate the program this coming fiscal year beginning July 1.
