Deer Valley High student wins reading honor

Freshman Sean Survant of Deer Valley High School earned gift certificates to Cafe Rio and Chick-fil-A, a medal and the book “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens” by Sean Covey for placing among the Top 10 in Deer Valley Unified School District’s Read 180 growth.

Read 180 raises reading achievement in grades 4-12+ to accelerate students toward college and career readiness. DVUSD superintendent Curt Finch honored Sean.
