WHAM ushers out February, starts March

WHAM Art Center, 16560 N. Dysart Road, ends February and starts March with several classes.

  • Vibrations (Mixed Media Art) is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 27. Students will be creating a style of their own while learning valuable techniques using simple tools such as masking tape, watercolors, and acrylics. Learn all this and more from Artist Colene Clark in one of her painting classes offered this year. Cost is  $35 per class and a maximum of 12 students

  • The WHAM Art Book Club meets on the first Monday of each month. This month the club continue reading/studying: “The Letters of Paul Cezanne.” Mr. Cezanne was a Post impressionist French artist, in the 19th century. The next meeting is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 1. Cost is $10 per non-member.
  • Kids art classes are designed to help create art in children’s development across many domains, physical, social, cognitive, emotional, imagination and experimentation development. The next class is from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. March 4 and is called "Clever Chameleon." Art will help your child develop these skills and CARree is here to help each child develop and grow. Each class we will be concentrating on drawing techniques, most drawings will be able to be completed. These classes are designed specifically for children ages 5 to 7 years old.
