West Valley Island Cultural Festival to stream live online

The West Valley Island Cultural Festival will present a livestream festival at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 15.

The free event will begin with a Hawaiian presentation, followed by other cultural performances.

The festival will be livestreamed on Zoom as well as the West Valley Island Cultural Festival’s Facebook page, and YouTube channel accessible through wvislandculturalfest.com.

The West Valley Island Cultural Festival encourages attendees to support the artists by giving donations. The performing artists will have virtual tip jars available.

The festival’s lineup includes Tropical Polynesian Productions, Moon Kahele and Friends, Halau Hula O Na Mauna Komohana, Betti Mac (Pop Reggae), Steelin’ The Night Away Steel Drum Band, Pacific Paradise Entertainment, Philippine American Community Center of Michigan (PACCM Hula Dance Group), Magkapuso Group Salvation Army Farmington Hills Michigan, Mio, Manuel Concepcion and Kamuella Boys, The Desert Flowers (Belly Dance), Kakilambe : Dance And Drum Company (African), World of Dance Performing Arts Company (Indian Classic Kathak dance),  Kaimikahu Hale O Hula I Te Fa‘a O Te Mahana, and The Desert Strummers.
