Due to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, city of Surprise sanitation customers only are reminded there will be a modified schedule that will postpone collection by one day.

Surprise trash schedule delayed a day for MLK holiday

Due to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, city of Surprise sanitation customers only are reminded there will be a modified schedule that will postpone collection by one day.

Monday, Jan. 17 collection will be picked up Tuesday, Jan. 18; Tuesday collection will happen Wednesday and so on.

Note not all Surprise residents are city of Surprise sanitation customers, and may not experience a change in pickup service.

Check with your service provider. For questions about the schedule, call 623-222-1900.

City of Surprise administrative offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 17 in observance of MLK Day.
