Posted
The city of Surprise is partnering with Vitalant Blood Donation to host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6 at City Hall, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza.
Members of the community wanting to participate are encouraged to make an appointment through the Vitalant website.
Although walk-ins are welcomed, those with an appointment will be given priority.
The blood drive will take place inside the Community Room.
As a local nonprofit, donations through Vitalant stay in the community to help its neighbors.
On average, Vitalant needs to collect about 5,500 blood donations every day to meet patient needs.
