Surprise sports fall youth league signups open

The city of Surprise Parks and Recreation Department is offering youth soccer, tee-ball, baseball, softball and volleyball leagues along with sports skills classes and camps this fall.
Registration runs through July 22. Late registration starts July 25.
Youth soccer, tee-ball, baseball, softball and volleyball:
Leagues for boys and girls ages 4 to 17 (determined on or before Nov. 30).
Season starts in early September and runs until early November.
Games are played on Saturdays and/or weeknights.
Practice times are up to the volunteer coach, usually one-hour once a week (5:30, 6:30 or 7:30 p.m.)
Surprise is offering a variety of six-week skills classes for ages 6-15. Soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball skills classes will be offered August through December.
Sports camps will be offered for ages 7 to 15.
