The city of Surprise is bringing back a fun day with science and technology at the Surprise SciTech Festival.
It’s all happening from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6 in the Surprise City Hall Outside Courtyard, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza.
The free educational event features interactive science, technology, engineering, art and math exhibits and demonstrations. Plus, food will be available to buy from a variety of food trucks. The event also includes music and a gaming trailer.
Demonstrations and displays include:
Dysart Unified Electric Karts and Robotics Team
Surprise Police, Fire-Medical, Water Conservation and other City Departments
Business and Higher Ed Institutions
The day also features Dino Crew, 30-minute Mad Science Shows (10 a.m. and noon), a virtual gaming truck and more.
It is presented in partnership with Arizona SciTech, the Surprise Arts and Cultural Advisory Commission, EPCOR, First Things First, Ottawa University-Arizona, Salvation Army, Waste Management of Arizona, and Zona Wyyerd.
