Surprise council picks 6 for boards, commissions

The Surprise City Council approved six appointments to various boards and commissions June 21.

The council approved the following recommendations of the city’s Nominations Committee:

Tatiana Young for the Audit Committee for a two-year term ending June 30, 2024.
Jose M. Valles (State Bar recommended) for the Judicial Selection Advisory Commission ending June 30, 2025.
Matthew Parker for the Personnel Appeals Board to fill the remainder of a term ending June 30, 2024.
Anthony Robinson for the Parks and Recreation Commission to fill the remainder of a term ending June 30, 2025.
David Kinnoin for the Parks and Recreation Commission to fill the remainder of a term ending June 30, 2023
Kim Drayden for the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System Board for a four-year term ending June 30, 2026.
