Surprise college students earn degrees

The following local students recently earned academic honors in college:

• Lillia Shameran Mrza graduated May 21 with a master of science in nursing in nursing master entry from Elmhurst University in Illinois.

• Olivia Wilcox earned a bachelor of science in business administration and a certificate in nonprofit leadership from at Youngstown State in Ohio.

• Jonathan Patton earned a bachelor of science in engineering degree from George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon.

• Dorian Nesby earned bachelor of arts degree in communication studies from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
