During COVID-19 precautions where social distancing is a must, especially for seniors and those with certain underlying conditions, Sun Health Wellness, 14719 W. Grand Ave., Building B, Surprise, is offering wellness classes to all Valley residents online at no cost. Registration is not required.

Both scheduled and on-demand classes are available at www.SunHealthWellness.org and by clicking on the banner at the top of the page for the latest information.

Meditation and Managing Anxiety

  • 2-3 p.m. Every Monday, starting April 13
  • About: During uncertain times increased anxiety is not uncommon. Sun Health is dedicated to partner with residents by providing complimentary weekly sessions focused on meditation, mindfulness and reducing anxiety. Join Barbara Mason as she guides in finding peace of mind.

Staying Active in Your Home

  • Noon-12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16
  • About: Join Sun Health Wellness Specialist Alex Stark, M.S., for a 30-minute workout.

Jump Back Into Life with Less Joint Pain

  • 1:15-2:30 p.m. Friday, April 17
  • About: Living with joint pain? Help get back to doing what you love to do – such as golfing, playing pickle ball, hiking or going for a stroll. Join Dr. Christina Khoury, orthopedic surgeon, and Dr. Shyam Shridharani, spine surgeon, who will discuss options for wellbeing.

Alcohol and the Aging Brain

  • 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, April 21
