Out of precautions for the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Stage Left Productions, 11340 W. Bell Road, Suite 105, Surprise, will close its doors until May 4.
“This was a decision that was not taken lightly we care about the health of our patrons, staff, production crew, and actors,” the theater posted to its Facebook page March 16. “Please everyone take care of yourselves.”
Stage Left provided a list of events impacted:
“All My Sons” postponed to Aug. 14-22.
“Goldilocks On Trial” postponed until May performance dates TBD (Rehearsals postponed until April. Director Amber Ryan will reaching out to the cast.)
“The Dinner Party” postponed to Sept. 18-Oct. 10.
Youth Summer Camp Play ”’Right’ @ Stage ‘Left’” still scheduled as planned June 15-27.
“Clue” On Stage Youth Production still scheduled as planned June 11-14.
“Snow White Variety Hour” Youth Production still scheduled as planned in July.
“Eleemosynary” still scheduled as planned July 24-Aug. 1.
“Red Speedo” canceled for 2020 and moved to 2021.
“Long Day’s Journey Into Night” canceled for 2020; may or may not be moved to 2021.
The theater box office will reach out to patrons who purchased tickets to “All My Sons” and “The Dinner Party.”
